Pitino 5 game suspension= seriously if he knew he should never be able to coach college again. If he didn't know he should have known and never be able to coach college again. They hired prostitute for 16,17,18 year olds. What message are we sending our youth and society when win at all cost is most important. SMH. Guess it's Cal fault if he wasn't killing him in recruiting he wouldn't have to stoop to hiring prositutes.

RP should be fired. Coaching ban for 5 years.

No postseason for 4 years for UL.

Vacation of all games any ineligible player even played a second.

Any player can transfer immediately and freely.

Reparations of all funds from games that any ineligible player played.

The penalty does not deter further misdeeds by any other school..........i.e. rob a bank, get caught, get convicted, and the penalty is repay the money and don't get caught for the next 4 years.
UL's only collateral damage is giving back the NCAA tourney monies received....not forfeiting any money for regular season games, concessions, etc.

Solution: Hit the future bank account with post season ban, no NCAA money for 2/3 years, good recruits go where they may be in tourney, home crowd suffers, concession revenue suffers and donations suffer and loss of other fan support.


Should be standard procedure...not just UL, not just UNC, but all offenders. Big incentive to stay clean.

If the total losses count as is,, Rick and Cal will be neck and neck for total wins.. Cal may even pass him by a couple games.. This is why Rick is so pissed..

If Rick didn't know, then it was "wink and a nod" willful ignorance. He said at the presser that he was too old to stay up late and check on recruits. How about sending an assistant to do random checks Ricky? It's called institutional control, which you seem to lack. Id' say it's more likely that EVERY coach knew. If they'd checked at all it would be to make sure they had plenty of booze and whores.
