I really don't understand why kids keep listing/picking Washington. They never win anything.
I was going to say the same thing. What is Washington offering these kids for them to be an option for so many of these blue chippers? They landed two studs last year and did nothing with them. They stunk. But here they are again.

The coach they have is less than mediocre, why would you go there?

I said cutting the list, meaning it's drawn out. Seems like we get most of ours very early without much drama and when it's drawn out, it doesn't bode well. I could be completely wrong, hence I asked the question as I don't know.

Right, and I'm asking for examples of what you're talking about. I can't think of a kid who committed anywhere that didn't have a list of some sort.

Maybe Wiltjer? Who else are you thinking of?

Both his parents went to UW and his mom was a star basketall player. Washington would make sense if he went there. Why Markelle Fultz and Isaiah Stewart went across the country to that program makes less sense.

I'm talking about lists that were CUT, and I immediately gave you two examples from the last freaking week, lmao. You know that, but you are trying to change the subject since I gave you two examples quickly and you didn't like that. I've seen you in action, so I'll move on since you aren't worth anyone's time.

UT is the dark horse in Banchero's recruitment.

I've heard that about Tennessee, Gonzaga and lately, Arizona.

Seems like Duke is the only team no one lists as a dark horse or favorite, so I guess that makes them the true dark horse.

He's definitely said all the right things publicly. Hard to get a read on him.

He also says strongly (again) that he is staying in 2021.

"I am 100% 2021. Everybody knows that, I know that. A lot of people think that I’m like lying, holding off, to make some announcement, but I’m not doing that."

Hope Jack Pilgrim gets the message and can go one Podcast without mentioning his name or the possibility. Then again, once Banchero's frustration with the topic rose, Pilgrim threw this on other UK media/fans, etc....and media "distanced" himself from it. Then went right back to insinuating why it would make sense to reclass......

I am asking you for examples of "us doing better with kids who don't cut their lists." That's what you said.

Thousands of kids commit every year that cut their list, obviously you can name an infinite number that we don't get. Kids like Brown and Green have us listed even if we don't recruit them.

So again, I'm asking for you to list the kids we have landed that didn't cut their list to make you claim that you think we do better with them. Can you give a single one or do you just want to be shitty and petulant for no reason?

We’re the ONLY bigtime program with a Top 10 kid coming in - and we have two - and we still have losers who insist on coming in here and whining like little babies about recruiting. It’s pathetic.
I concur. 8/11 of the teams Cal has coached have had potential to win a title. That’s 3/4 years during his tenure that we have a team that could have legit won a title.

To add to that, had Noel not went down and Harrow not had the personal issues, that team makes a run. Archie Goodwin was forced to be a player he was not due to Harrows troubles and was always falsely criticized by fans. That team could have easily been a 5-7 loss team that made an elite 8 run, if not for things Cal could not control.

Had Skal not been a bust on the 15/16 team, that team is a final 4 contender. We had the best backcourt in America and the number one overall frontcourt recruit in Skal, he was just a rare bust.

The Shai/PJ team had final four potential had Vanderbilt not had the injury. The guy per 40’d 18 rebs per game. What a huge difference he would have made for a full season.

Because we’ve not won 3-4 titles, people see Cal as a failure. Those people cannot think outside of championship numbers. They’re incapable of seeing the big picture. Sucks for them. I’ll keep enjoying the ride
