I cant link this cause Im dumb. But Bam has a FB post, says he is with SKJ. Says "crazy thing about UKs class is we still prolly add Kobi Simmons. Then Kobi replies #dreaming"
If anyone can find and link thanks. So what's everyone's take??

Kobi is waiting to see who leaves. Cal has sold him the 3 guard line up and for him to hold off until spring and see who leaves.

Cal must have known he couldn't get Fox and Monk with Simmons on board so he asked him to wait.

I don't buy that theory..more like Cal only knew for sure that he needed 2 and his top 2 choices was Fox & Monk..........Simmons only enters the picture if either Fox or Monk said no or if we lose more than 2 guards at the end this year.

That's always made sense to me--IF we lose three guards. Personally hoping we keep Ulis for one more year but not holding my breath.:)
 
I think Im friends on FB with Bam. Came across my feed. Know Im friends with Kobi, maybe thats how I can see it...but I searched Bam and went to his page and it was his top post about an hr ago. I promise it is or was there.

That's 1 possible interpretation. Obviously, Simmons likes Calipari. But Simmons has his future to think about. Calipari is the best in the business at developing guards for the NBA, but this depends on actually getting onto the court. Fox and Monk will eat up a lot of minutes. Matthews, Mulder, Hawkins are coming back. With a full year in Calipari's system, Matthews will be very good. Possibility of either Ulis or Briscoe coming back next year looks greater than 50-50 to me. That's a lot of guards. Devin Booker got to the draft lottery without starting for Kentucky, but Booker has an elite NBA skill as a devastating perimeter scorer. Does Simmons have 1 elite NBA skill that would earn him 10 minutes of playing time against this bunch of guards? I'm not sure about that. Simmons may want to play for Kentucky, but I don't think he can afford to make that decision unless he intends to stay for 2 years. If 2 years is his plan, it might happen.
 
I could be wrong, but I think Facebook's sharing policy is this: If something someone's post on FB is not public for everyone to see (for example, only Bam's friends can see what he posts), then if someone else shares that post, the original audience is still the only audience that can see it (Bam's friends only).

Also, some people here are actually Facebook friends with these recruits? And if worst comes to worst, just use the "print screen" button on your keyboard, open Microsoft Paint and click "paste", crop out the excess computer screen stuff (if you don't know how to do that, don't worry about it), then save the picture and upload onto a site like photobucket.com or something like that.

Here, I think we see the difference between counting stars and actually looking at what the class does for the program. Without Kobi Simmons, Kentucky's class is already in the discussion for best ever. Nothing against Simmons, but he doesn't really add that much. Fox and Monk may be the best guard combination ever to play for Kentucky, and that includes Wall, Bledsoe or Delk, Turner. After Charles Matthews has a full year in the program, I doubt Simmons could walk right in and take playing time from him. If Simmons comes to Kentucky, he will have to stay for 2 years. If he is willing to do that, he could become a key starter in 2017-18, after Fox and Monk are gone. An early look at guard possibilities in the next class is not very encouraging, so that might be what Calipari and Simmons are thinking.

Perhaps, but even playing behind players at Kentucky would be better then playing in front of players at OSU. Unless he is D'Angelo Russell, he will be in college 2 years regardless. I would take my chances at UK. JMO

Tom, accepted your request. But my girl is obviously my fb friend and I dont see it on mine either when viewed from hers. I sent orangesodaking 3 pics though. Hopefully one of you two can figure this out
 
I maybe in the minority here but a bunch of dudes 25 and up salivating over a 17-18 yr old kids Facebook might come off as a little creepy. I don't know if I would go as far as asking him to be your fb friend while he is a minor or in highschool, that sort of thing is frowned upon in today's society. I really hope Simmons goes to UK but I'm not going to fb stalk him and try and read his cryptic posts as something that's pro UK.
