Bama opens -2

It would be nice to beat Bama and not have yet another home court loss. But, the unfortunate truth is (and I can't believe as a fan I am saying this) it doesn't matter. We are going to be a lower seed at best and unless we make it to a Final Four I see no resolution for anyone supporting Cal. Next year recruits already don't look as promising as this current team. This is/was the year that should have been. There's no recovering during the SEC season anymore. It is going to take that tournament run to salvage his career buy out or not. Who can continue to be a fan of Cal otherwise?

I’m going with Bama, I have a feeling we start pretty much the same 5 to start both halves. There is my issue with the line.

Meh, I’m not sweating this one, UK by 4. Most knowledgeable bettors will bypass this game, so it should be a classic CBB game to enjoy for a change, similar to the Auburn game.

Not surprising but if UK opened favored by 2 or even 5 I still wouldn’t be confident about a win In Rupp. I’m just going to cross my fingers and hope UK brings it tomorrow.😉

Tennessee opened as a favorite then got bet into Kentucky as the favorite and we seen what happened that day. Not loving this rather be the underdog we have been much better as the underdog this year then the favorite.

I can’t believe that little bump Mitchell got is what’s keeping him out.
I’m sure he’ll be jumping around on the sideline like he has since this happened, the way we handle “injuries” is past laughable. I mean if he’s hurt then don’t be bouncing around like you’re in the club but this is just a long list of issues going on in this program.

UK has the biggest bunch of panzies in the country. Oh my poor shoulder, my poor ankle is sore.. boohoo

I heard Goose Givens on the radio last week prior to the Auburn game and he literally said that the day before the ‘78 title game against Dook, that his shoulder which had been bothering him popped out of place during practice and Joe B ended practice right then and there because he didn’t want Goose to hurt himself any further. The next Day he had 41 points and won the title for UK.

These kids we have today… smh.

With Mitchell most likely being out, today’s game is like the Gonzaga game then. In that game Kentucky needed Mitchell badly, and Gonzaga exploited uk every time, bama will do the same

Seems like this would have been a game where Mitchell would work well at Center - even on defense as the guy to guard Nelson.

For sure, he would have been huge in the Gonzaga game as well. Bama may be without the wrightsel jr guy again, but they still have like 10 shooters on that team

Even Pilgrim reported in his 4 point play last night he’s been practicing. Just because cpl people posted here he’s not is a reflection on them . I was accurate

I've personally talked to all the players. No I've been a member on this board longer than most the players have been alive. Mitchell probably "could" play but he'd be 70% and that doesn't help anyone.
It probably doesn’t but 10-15 mins from Mitchell would be big
