The last time I guess he was thinking “go up by 6 and if they score and miss the extra point we go to overtime.” Odd thinking.
Brian Kelly has been an insufferable prick every where he has ever coached. I hope he loses every game he coaches

If you’re LSU, you got three yards away from a win? Go for it. House money cause no one expects you to win any way and you take control of the outcome instead of needing another offensive and defensive possession to see how it unfolds.
They just knocked Bama out of the playoff, the earliest that’s ever happened. Bama very well could have had four losses already.
This is a rebuilding year for bama and that speaks volumes about how strong that program has become. They are better than 90% of the teams in college football on their worst year.
Assuming they stay undefeated, Georgia will get one spot. They probably will even with a loss in the conference championship game. An undefeated Big 10 champion will get the second spot, and with everyone else losing, there’s a spot there for an undefeated TCU if they can finish the deal. The argument between Tennessee and the loser of the Ohio State/Michigan game will be spicy assuming they both finish with 1 loss.
Georgia has a superior offensive line. Bennett never felt any pressure today. Young is always trying to àvoid the rush.

The stones on Brian Kelly to make that call, gotta hand it to him. Mark Stoops would play for 10 overtimes before he made a call like that.
Kelly doing this in his first year is very impressive. They’ve currently got the #4 ranked recruiting class for 2023. If he gets elite talent they’re going to have things rolling.

Stoops did the same thing against Northwestern. Granted, there's a difference between doing it in a minor bowl as opposed to doing it in a game of magnitude like this game.
What if the best 2 teams are in the same division like in 2011? It was clearly alabama and lsu but only one could be division champ.

Bama didn’t deserve a rematch against LSU. Their first game was awful. Oklahoma State deserved that spot. The decision to allow that was so egregious that it led to the playoff we have now.
I’ve never once believed in Notre Dame and know they will get destroyed in any big bowl game as it has happened for over 20 years.
I absolutely do not think you should be in a national championship when you’re not even the winner of your own division.

How did Oklahoma state deserve that spot of bama, when Oklahoma st lost to Iowa st that year, and bama’s only loss was to the LSU team by 3. That rematch deserves to happen
