Bama @ LSU

Looks like Bama is playing not to lose early, especially after the big mistake in the red zone. They look flustered. Maybe they expected this to be a cake walk

Bama player is out of bounds and touching the ball before possession is established

Have no idea what they're saying about it (at a restaurant and sound is off)

That’s exactly what they ruled on replay. It was correctly called, but honestly that’s a bizarre rule that may need tweaking, and I say that as someone who considers Alabama my second team.

Can someone explain that last no fumble because Bama player was out of bounds and touching the ball?

It's basically the same as when a kick returner steps one foot out of bounds and touches a kickoff in the field of play triggering a kick out of bounds penalty. The second the Bama player touched the ball it was as if the football was out of bounds since it was touching an out of bounds player,

Once a player out of bounds touches a live ball it becomes a dead ball automatically.

People hoping bama is gonna win out and beat uga so tn may not get in the playoff are going to be disappointed.

I dont see bama beating uga. Hell may not win 2nite.

I think Bama should've gone for the 1st down or end zone with 4th and 27 seconds left. They've been working the middle of the field constantly this first half. LSU hasn't been stopping it well.

Thanks for the info. Never seen that on a live ball fumble

It's a pro rule that carried over I think. I've seen it more in the NFL than in college. That's why you're taught to ALWAYS fight for the ball in that situation. Could've been a big momentum swing right before halftime.

Instead Bama gets points on the board

Viles are hoping and praying ND finishes their game strong and gets the W

Clearly short of the first down but ref had em marked 1 yd over

Nice drive for a TD by LSU. Still enough time for Young and Bama.

LSU scored too soon. Liked to have seen a run there to take time off the clock or force a Bama time out.

Feels like they've gotten so far away from their norm these days they can't assert themselves anymore. And I don't mean passing...they haven't even made pass plays in a normal manner, it only happens after the qb runs under legs and dipsee doo's for 10 seconds to have a wr drift open when the db's lose em.
