It's basically the same as when a kick returner steps one foot out of bounds and touches a kickoff in the field of play triggering a kick out of bounds penalty. The second the Bama player touched the ball it was as if the football was out of bounds since it was touching an out of bounds player,Can someone explain that last no fumble because Bama player was out of bounds and touching the ball?
