Bam playing on ESPNU @ 5:00 today

Close to double figures in rebounds. Highpoint missing threes for long rebounds. Starting fast break for Chino. Should work the ball to Bam to slow Chino down,

Chino's defense is pretty good, so I don't look for him to go off for many points. HP is mostly taking long jumpers as you said.

You don't need an AAU feeder program when you've got the Ball brothers.:)

Never seen a team play like this 40 ft 3s and then full court outlet passes on rebounds.

The full court pass while jumping out of bounds was pretty crazy for a high school player to make. Ball looks like he's going to be the next Toby Bailey.

Well Bam's coach is terrible. Did he think he was going to out shoot the Ball brothers. The guards hardly made any effort to get him the ball. If they did it was very sloppy.

Hardly impacted the game. Not impressed.

You're entitled to your opinion, of course. But I'm curious as to what you expected to see? Personally, I thought he exemplified the "power" in PF. He is strong, good rebounder, has good hands, willing and able passer out of the post, plays under control. It's pretty difficult to dominate a game on the offensive end as a frontcourt player when you're reliant on the backcourt players who always have the ball. But if you're referring to his lack of post up offense - or really offense in general - I would agree he didn't look like a guy you're going to run your offense through. But to me he certainly looks like a guy to do the dirty work that a team can't win without. I'll take that everyday.

Terrible game to judge what Bam can do. Due to the defense Chino played, Bam was never a part of the offense. But you can see that he is unselfish, a great rebounder, and very skilled all-around.

BTW, I am glad we won't have to watch the Balls very much. Lonzo and that freshman have the ugliest shots I've ever seen. And the father is insufferable.

What they do (ball brothers) will not work in college, not against major div. 1 talent, fun to watch, reminds me of marymount late 80s early90s, bam is the real deal, can't wait to have him here, he's what

Ball brothers have a real low release in their shoot. They also shoot set shots, will be interesting to see if they can get their shot off in college.

Seemed like he had like 20 rebounds and I'd guess somewhere around 6 assists.

Every time he touched the ball , he made something happen as in scoring , drawing fouls or assisting. He also missed two put back jams that would of just been nasty. But honestly, I wish he'd come back down and go back up immediately and I'd bet he at least would of drawn fouls then.

For someone who basically had to fight for everything he got, Bam was impressive. He rarely touched the ball but everytime he did something good happened.

Lonzo probably has an uglier hitch in his shot than MKG. It's a frickin' sidewinder. He's also incredibly cocky, which is cool. Can't wait to see the guys shut him up once he comes to Rupp next season. The father is just awful.

This is how I feel. I'm sure he had 19 or 20 rebounds in that game that I saw, and he was very good at driving the lane and passing it, or passing out of the post. Like you said, probably got 6 assists or so out of that. He really had to create for himself to get a shot off tonight though. The guards on his team jacked up shots after 10 seconds and rarely looked to get it into the post. He did a good job of capitalizing whenever they did get it to him in the post (typically got a basket or drew the foul), but outside of that, he had to go up, grab the rebound, and try to make something happen, or he had to switch it up, catch the ball from the mid-post, and drive the lane for points.

you guys notice how High Point was coming down the court and sending Bam to the corner on the weak side? WTH? kind of basketball idiocy is that? Thats where you put a 3pt shooter , not a big.

Also don't forget the 2 or 3 times they tried to get him the ball inside.... looked like James Young trying to pass the ball........ In other words awful pass that didnt even make to its intended target.

Lonzo Ball had a triple double with 22 assists.. 15/11/22.. Bam had a double double but I didn't see any numbers..

I haven't seen anything yet, but I'm thinking Bam got like 17 points, 19 (maybe 20 rebounds), and 6 assists or so. Somebody post the official numbers once they see them.

Plus they let Chino get run out after run out. You'd think they would learn, but no.

Yeah, Lonzo will definitely have an adjustment. He's been playing with his brothers and cousin for a while. Also, he's not gonna get away with shooting sideways 30 footers in college.
