(Chino Hills, CA) 75-100: FG 5/10; 3’s 0/0; FT 3/6; Reb 18; PF 1; TP 13; A 3; TO 2; Blk 0; Stl 0 – I saw Bam play 4 games last month at the 2015 City of Palms Classic and he played a different role in each of those games. Today’s game was similar to his game against Chaminade at City of Palms when his team shot lots of 3’s and didn’t make an effort to get the ball inside to Bam. At times, Bam would have his man pinned down on the block, but his teammate would make no effort to get the ball into him. He only showed minor hints of frustration, but saw some re-Tweets from him of Tweets that pointed out the fact that his team wasn’t looking for him. Not sure what’s going on, but either the coach prefers everyone getting their fair share of shots, or his teammates are jealous or stupid. Bam has a motor and can be a force on the boards (18 rebounds). A true rim rattler and got 10 of his 13 points in the paint. I would expect to see Bam and Wenyen to bring a lot of much needed energy to the front court next year. Has a Dwight Howard / Alex Poythress look about him.
