Baker highlight.

That was a good throw and even better catch. If Baker does that consistently then we won't have any problems at receiver.

BTW, is that Lorenzon on the side line? Went by him fast but it looked like him.

Baker could turn out to be as good as parker from ul....I know ul fans will not agree, but he is that talented imo...

Baker and Montgomery are 2 guys that really excite me, they make difficult catches look routine and that helps out a QB tremendously.

Badet with speed, Johnson with skill, Bone with size, and Baker with, well, all are the kind of players that can just flat go get balls and make big plays even on good coverage and turn a bad throw into a big gain. And they're all only going to get better.

Think UK will have a top 2 receiving unit in the SEC in the 2016 season.

I'm just as impressed with the throw as I am with the catch. If one of our QBs is able to make throws like that consistently then we're in good shape on offense.

Are you talking about the guy who jumps out of the way at the end? I know him, but thats not Lorenzen.

That was a nice catch even if left unguarded. Like all star games, it shows what he can do. I like his awareness and hands. Very nice.

This here shows me that Dawson and his QBs and receivers are on the same page. This is QB and WR relationship at it's best. You saw this all the time at Texas tech under leach. Wr reads the corner and the QB reads the corner.

That is the most difficult play for a defense to defend. If we have Towle and the Wideouts mastering that technique we will be a top 30 offense.

Wasn't it Mike Leach against Texas that said he ran 4 certs 30+ times to pull off the upset? If the wide out burns the corner you go deep, if the corner plays off you undertow and it's essentially a deep hitch route. Nightmare to cover especially in man coverage.

Oh yeah nice catch to ;)

Great catch but the 10 yard cushion by the DB was not what you will see against teams with quality SEC defenses. With tight coverages, the ball may have went somewhere else however it good the Cats have a player with great hands.

Looks like they were in a cover 3. Corners will either press and bail or lineup in a cushion of 8-10 yards. And you will see this against other defenses.

Love that kind of anticipation throw...we started seeing that between Woodson and Keenan Burton quite a bit..it comes when those QB's and WR's work together in the offseason and they build that timing and comfort level

Love Baker's mentality and his size & athleticism..he was the king of those crack-back blocks last year with 2 killers against LSU and Ohio..dude is built like an outside linebacker..hopefully he'll play up to his potential this year and we get the ball to him
