Looked it up for giggles. We beat them 90-50 that season as well.

If you are talking solely about UK vs UT, I had lots of fun last yr watching UK sweep UT...
The good days! I think if Pitino could do it all over again he wouldn’t have left UK but I do understand why he did because of the money Boston threw at him.
I absolutely loved that team but we were lucky we had enough talent to overlook Cal’s lack of coaching that year to win it all.
I took my son to the game in Knoxville that year thinking we would run them off the court and it came down to the last minute. 😓

61 had to have been one of if not the lowest point total that year. Same team scored 86 in the first half against LSU.
That’s what results from proper conditioning, development, preparation, and game management. We get none of that now, just recruiting, rolling out the balls, spazzing, old man gibberish, and praying for dogs.

Na, he’s a big fan. When we lost in the SEC tournament last year he posted that it was time for Cal to go. When he gets mad, he agrees with the rest of us. Then he calms down and wants to argue.
I found the post to be decently interesting from a historical perspective, relevant to the game today against UT, and certainly relevant to a UK basketball discussion board. You and your ilk must rise out of bed just to fulfill your purpose as toxic hall monitors and attack anyone's post that might contain even the slightest criticism of your chosen idol.
