Glad to see it. Really respect Broome despite him playing for Auburn
I think he will be out a while still. Those bad sprains can be quite painful and he won’t want to re-injure again quickly. They can be fickle.
Ha! Well it is the SEC, so the refs might not call it.When we play them we need to go after the ankle, slid a foot under his jumper and take our chances
Just because it doesn't require surgery does not mean it isn't serious. A bad ankle sprain can be a 4-6 week issue.
I agree with you 100%. There is no way for ankle to be turned like that by someone his size and not be serious. We already know what's gonna happen at Georgia....smhGonna be a tough week without him. (If he's out this week) Miss State and then at Georgia.
Seems like every teams schedule is gonna be brutal honestly, Arkansas seems to have gotten a relatively good draw overall at least upcoming. Everyone will have a stretch of 7-8 games that are brutal in this league.Gonna be a tough week without him. (If he's out this week) Miss State and then at Georgia.
For sure, sometimes they can be even worse because with surgery you have a general timeframe of being ready. With these it could last and last, be ok but still weak and get hurt again. Maybe it gets hurt worse. Ya never know. If it tore ligaments or something ugh.I agree with you 100%. There is no way for ankle to be turned like that by someone his size and not be serious. Everytime I see an ankle turn I wince. I've sprained both ankles so many times playing ball back in the day. They still bother me if it's cold out. Good to read Broome doesn't need surgery.
Well in all honesty we took Oscar. And just think , Cal did not recruit this kid to the detriment of our program. Mitch should have fired him years ago for dereliction of duty.
I know! I had some bad ankle sprains just from playing different games as a kid like little league, football, kickball, tennis I tried everything. Once you sprain the same ankle a couple times it isn’t quite right for a long while. It hurts like hell too.Everytime I see an ankle turn I wince. In Cal’s defense he could have never helped him develop into the player he is.And just think , Cal did not recruit this kid to the detriment of our program. Mitch should have fired him years ago for dereliction of duty.

5 game stretch with 4 teams in the top 14, and the other team is 14-2. Ouch.Yeah, just saw who we have next Saturday. They will put us going undefeated at Rupp to the test.
And he and Broome could have played together but Cal didn’t know how to coach that and he wanted to get Oscar to the pros so he lets Broome go. He was just a blithering idiot.Well in all honesty we took Oscar.
I'm not sure what grabbed attention but it looked like a high ankle sprain. He may be back in a week, he may be back in 6 weeks or more.It looked bad.
Surprised.
