Auburn Trolling UL

Okay, well that would make sense as to why they would have Eagle on the sign but why would they sing War Eagle if they are Tigers?
Once a Looserville fan always a looser.......Go on back to your board and maybe some of your toothless, linebeard UofLsucksville fans can help you with a history lesson if there are any who can read and write.

Classless. You won't see anything like that here in The Ville. BTW, what does an Eagle have to do with this. Aren't they the Tigers?

Surely you don't honestly think a sign like that is "classless" - I mean you aren't that dumb right?

What is The Ville [laughing]...Nashville Huntsville ..Asheville..do you dorks ever do anything without a gimmick..Auburn will chew up Lil Brother like Georgia just did Chubb had 300 yards rushing against the matador defense..It may get butt ugly..:boxing: WAR EAGLE..

Actually both teams have several positions they did not name starters for...UofL had 16 'or' positions and Auburn had 13 'or' positions.
No-one in the country did something as stupid claiming 4 potential starters for qb

The most popular story about the battle cry dates back to the first time Auburn met Georgia on the football field in 1892 and centers around a spectator who was a veteran of the Civil War. In the stands with him that day was an eagle the old soldier had found on a battlefield during the war. He had kept it as a pet for almost 30 years.
According to witnesses, the eagle suddenly broke free and began majestically circling the playing field. As the eagle soared, Auburn began a steady march toward the Georgia end zone for a thrilling victory. Elated at their team's play and taking the bird's presence as an omen of success, Auburn students and fans began to yell "War Eagle" to spur on their team. At the game's end, the eagle took a sudden dive, crashed into the ground, and died.
But the battle cry "War Eagle" lived on to become a symbol of the proud Auburn spirit. Whenever Auburn people gather, the battle cry "Warrrrrrr Eagle!" is almost certain to be heard. It has been a part of Auburn's spirit for more than 100 years.

Quick question for our line-bearded one. When exactly did you start following college football and did you know it existed outside of C-USA or the Big East before last season?
I've been a college football fan for quite some time but I will admit that I typically only watch when UofL is playing.[/QUOTE]

Wow, I didn't know the vans down by the river had cable.

They have two mascots.

Which is better than I don't know... A bird with teeth.

I have seen the Eagle soar, an old tradition that they loosen him before the game and he soars around the stadium. Pretty impressive. What does a Cardinal do, flutter? I doubt if he could get off the ground with those teeth. Probably fall on his face, which what I hope his team does this year.

With Bobby as head coach,,,, for a second time, class is not part of the criteria.

A college football fan, but only watches when Louisville plays ? Okay, Sounds like you are a homer fan.

Auburn War Eagle 100000 x greater than the L1C4 bs.

Class ? But has a stripper pole at tailgates.

Located in Ky, but liquor of choice is Crown Royal ??? Why question a football power about their choices.

I could probably go on and on, but why ???

I am sure you are right but I have not read the submitted lineups for every other team in the country. Well done. Take out the QB and UofL and Auburn listed the exact same number of potential duplicate starters.

This guy is a piece of cake... he is an Otis fan, right? Case closed

Actually from his posts on the basketball forum....many of us are pretty sure that he's just goofing on LilBros. He's basically the "Not Jerry Tipton" of our discussions. So just roll with him and take it for what it is.

Auburn has a recent history of throwing in a stinker early. South Florida comes to mind. Hopefully they come ready to play.

Classless? Like this billboard?

L1C4 fans always seem to have short memories. Hey, you should be happy Auburn fans even care enough about you to even put up something like this. Guess that move from the ACC actually did you some good.

If the sign that is the subject of this thread is "classless," then the sign above and other UL signs used in the past are more so, because they are not a fan's doing, but placed by the university.

That said, I do not think the sign that is the subject of this thread is "classless."
