Best team in the NBA by a good margin has an average age of 24.1. most of them have been in the league for 2+ years.

Auburn, best team in college bball, has an average age of 23.2. most of them have been playing college basketball since we added a 3pt line. Has really opened things up for them.

Sorry if someone's posted already but I just found this and thought it was a pretty absurd statistic.
