But I was feeling like we have been so enamored with Mark, and that has been the story of the year, we wanna make sure that we don’t slight these guys who I am sure are a huge part of what we are seeing.

These guys have been instrumental in the success of this team as well, a good coach will surround himself with good people and we have all the above. I hope these guys stay here for a long time but I wonder if other schools will come after them at seasons end.

I am hoping most if not all of them have become so tied into this thing by our success so far that they will ignore other offers at least until we win a title, at least if we can do it in the next three years. One thing I’m sure they all realize is every other job on Planet Earth comes with less fan support.

Excellent post OP. And I’ll add in that Pope will be the sort of coaching mind that grows an actual coaching tree/lineage and not a handful of cronies that can’t coach their way out of a paper bag.

I wish the announcers would’ve brought this up. I would’ve liked to get some insight into his role with the team.

Watching the team grow and individual players improvement speaks volume about the staff and their work quality.

From watching them interact among themselves, with player and the head coach, shows they are having fun working together.

Grateful to have them and hopefully they got to experience BBN ‘ love!
