"Z makes us different." Yes Cal! Ride him going forward at the 5! And, yes, Z at the 5 and Edwards at the 4 (or Adou). Pair that with the 3 guard lineup. It's pretty simple at this point.

Agreed but if Wagner stays hot from the outside, he becomes extremely dangerous when you couple that with his driving ability. Team is coming together so nicely. Props to Cal
Absolutely! If we get the Wagner we saw today, we'll be very dangerous moving forward. I don't even care which 3 guards we play, just play 3 of them together consistently. I can't stand that lineup we start the game with in having just 2 guards to go with Edwards at the 3, Adou, and Ugonna. I know we end up going to the better lineup quickly but why can't we just start with any 3 guards, Edwards, and Z?
Might depend on match-ups. A tall frontline does not align with three guards, unfortunately. Gonzaga started 6’8”, 6’9” and 6’10, for example.

Not just tall. But they had 3 physical guys. In 7 of our 8 losses we were bully-balled.
But he is going to Louisville, which isn't any better. It's even more of a dumpster fire.

Most everyone has been seeing and sayin' it. But it will never happen.
Has anyone else noticed that Cal starts out every Post Game conference after a win talking about how he shouldn't listen to anyone else and just flat out defending himself.

That's what I have been waiting to hear since GA, Z makes us different, he just does. Ok Cal, I can rest, let's go!
I mean, damn, they even ask Bradshaw. What turned the tide and he says Zs block. Everyone sees Z is the man, cool of Bradshaw to point it out though.
I like Wagner, I do, but was worries me is like this game. Rob and Reed both have 5 assist apiece while DJ had zero and 1 board in 26 mins. I'm glad he's scoring now but I worry about his IQ/selfishness compared to the others with the game on the line. I hope he is back and sharing more going forward.
