Arkansas fans are starting to see it now. Link to their message board.

No he wasn't. Read the actual reports from the NCAA on both cases. Cal wasn't going around arranging for Derrick Rose to take fake SATs. The NCAA already cleared him anyway before backtracking on it. If Cal was as guilty as you say he would have gotten a show cause just like Pearl did after he left Tennessee.

UK didn't recruit the vast majority of the talent Cal got here. Cal's history with getting players to the NBA did, that just coincided closely to when he arrived here. He was already known as the coach that got point guards in the NBA after a year with Rose and Evans, and Wall would have strengthened that reputation regardless of where Cal was coaching. If you think any of Wall, Bledsoe, Knight, Teague, or the Harrisons came here for UK and not Cal you're mistaken. Wall was already committed to Memphis and Bledsoe had ruled us out long before Cal was hired here.
Another reason I love Pooe as Pooe is getting players here who want to play at Kentucky. And, Pooe took down the NBA player posters in the Craft center. I was happy when Cal was hired here, and he gave us some good (great) years despite his inability to adapt, but it was past time for him to move on.

Seems everyone has a shelf life unless you're K or Saban.
They evolved with the times until the times passed them by. Cal was ahead of the curve on one and done. Once K, Self, and every other program in the nation started recruiting the same way, Cal’s coaching deficiencies stood out. When you can recruit 2 or 3 kids that can go get their own, coaching is relatively easy.

Yeah, if I was one of their fans I would want the guy that did their homework on Cal and went after him to be fired first. He could have just asked a casual UK fan and got all he needed to make the right decision.
There are like 2 guys on there that already see it but the mods and his buddies immediately shut them down with the excuses we have long seen on here.

Dang, this is confusing, you call him pooe, but then you say you love Pooe.
That's a new way to spell Poo

Somebody switched/replaced keys on your computer? :flushed:

We get trashed by some media talking heads (and even by folks here with tin ears) for having an eye on Arkansas and living up their failures this year. But, you don’t think the feeling is mutual? If we sweep Clemson and Zags this week that site will melt down, even if they happen to get by Miami and whatever UTSA is.

I think most of the media will understand when they see UK fans openly rooting for Calipari's demise at Arkansas.

If he were coaching on the West Coast, recruiting a different batch of guys and not really competing against UK, I could see our fans leaving him be. But he chose Arkansas, a conference rival, and openly has been recruiting against us.

He used to talk about burning villages down. Well, now he gets to see what it's like when BBN burns his village down.

I wanna know what you been typing that drives your autocorrect to throw you Pooe 3 times in the same paragraph

All he had to do was keep welch. Then I’d be worried about them. Well I suppose they can’t shoot anyways. So nothing to worry about

Just wait until their freshmen projects all declare
When it happens, Cal will condescendingly tell Arkansas fans, "It's not about you. It's about these kids."

Arkansas is so lucky, they get the worst Miami team in the last 8 years probably at least. If they lose this one they have bigger problems than most think.

Miami is absolutely horrible, so I'm curious to see how Arkansas plays against them tonight. Could be telling.

Arkansas has something close to a must win game tonight. One of only 2 remaining opportunities to secure an out of conference win against a P4 team

And Big Z is not starting and is limited tonight by an ankle injury. Arkansas is short-handed. That sounds familiar.

Hmm A Cal coached team with a Starter injured and team is short handed...wow what a surprise! 😂😂😂😂

Arkansas is bad right now. Cal somehow managed to take one of the best scorers in college basketball in Davis and make him look like unplayable player
It’s mind blowing honestly. Something is going on over there. Is TB messing with dudes in the shower again or what? Cal honestly looks miserable on the sideline to me.

The thing I like about them playing at Miami, is it's a no win situation. If they win, they were supposed to win, but if they lose… .

It appears I gave them too much credit for their knowledge lol. Wait until Cal tells them about Camp Cal.

From tonight’s game thread:

‘I really tried to block Kentucky out over the years...does Cal have a track record of being bad to start the year and really turn it around late in the year like Muss did? Seemed like Kentucky was winning these early season games more often than not”

I don’t know. Let’s ask St Peters and Oakland if Cal really turns it up.
