Are you angry over the name change?

Yes, but I admit its pointless to be. The Reds at least got it right with Great American Insurance. GABP is a great name even if its some insurance company. I feel we could have gotten more money if we hadn't just sold the rights to JMI, but maybe I'm wrong about how that all works.

What do these companies even get out of these naming rights deals? I have never once gone to a business because I was aware of their existence based on a ballpark bearing their name. The same can be said for TV ads, with the exception of the very rare instance where some restaurant advertises a new item or food special and it creates a craving.

I'm just going to keep calling it Commonwealth, or might I suggest we all just go with K Field.

I'll just betcha that many posters expressing shock and outrage at the name change haven't given an extra dime to UK that they didn't have to to buy their tickets.

We should have negotiated a better deal......they can sell the naming rights to anyone they want, but Commonwealth Stadium has to stay in the name, simple - JMI wouldn't have balked.

"Kroger presents Commonwealth Stadium" or "Kroger Field at Commonwealth Stadium (and get rid of the CM Newton) would have been fine.
This is how I feel. Make it Kroger-Commonwealth Field.

not mad at the deal but the poor execution of the deal along with leaving CM NEWTON name on the field which is a travesty. Kroger should be upset how UK handled the announcement, UK PR team are the absolute worst when it comes to football

I would prefer Kroger Field at Commonwealth Stadium.

If some of you remember, UT played on Shields-Watkins Field at Neyland Stadium.
