Simmons is still re-tweeting a bunch of folks who are tweeting him "you're next" comments. Think he'd still love to be a wildcat even if he has to come off the bench. It appears this super-class has just reinforced that.

Think he'll have to wait and see who all we lose this Spring. If Ulis, Briscoe, Murray, and Lee are all gone, there may be room for him. Think he'd still have to wait until his soph yr though to see much floor time.

Agreed. I think four guys are virtual locks to start next season and although Gabriel is thinking wing, I think Cal convinces him that the 4 is interchangeable in the dribble drive and that it won't matter. That said...

Simmons could come here and compete with Matthews for the last starting spot and even in the case where he is beaten out by Charles, he could still be the primary backup for the 1 through 3 positions.

Meanwhile, SKJ and Humphries would close out the rotation. 8 guys log the minutes. I suppose everything would change, however, if Willis proves he is a real rotation layer this year at the wing forward spot. If he does, one would have to assume he'd be the 8th guy next year, making Simmons' roll here virtually null and void.
