We got a couple of guys who either cannot or will not pass in sync with offensive movement. All they want to do is dribble and go one on one while the other 4 guys stand and watch. That's on Cal. He probably encourages it so they will be ready to get drafted.

My question is "Is Skal happy with Cal's style of yelling and screaming" ? He clearly doesn't look like he's having any fun, but we often see this with Freshman early in the year.

Cal said they didn't go to him because he couldn't catch. He hasn't learned that when he is not scoring to go do what he can. He'll learn.

Skal is very much a work in progress .. it really shows without TU

Skal has been a huge disappointment for me. I guess I was expecting too much too soon. Sure he's scored points at times but he plays soft and defense is no to be found. I just thought all the hype of being a top pick in the draft would mean he was NBA ready. I see many other guys I wo pick over him. In fact, at this point he looks like a player that should return. I hope he starts to pick it up and show us more of what the hype was about.

Hmmm so you think Skal is grabbing 10-15 rebounds blocking 3-5 shots and posting up his man and demanding the ball??

Last few games when they did feed him the ball he made some bad decisions with it. When to pass it back out vs score.

Granted we have some guards who like to pound the ball and score but without those guards we lose this game.

Looked like a combination of guards not ready or that eager to pass the ball and Skal getting moved out too far to get the ball. He can't establish his position well at all yet. Hopefully, he can work on this over Christmas break.

Right now, the biggest problem for Skal is lack of Bulk.
