I believed this was mentioned in another recent thread but someone mentioned that Jarred Casey played in the Citrus Bowl last year (actually beginning of this year lol). I think he still had not committed to another school until after the bowl game IIRC.

I think some kids enter the portal with options to return if they choose.
Kinda up to the coach and administration and I’m sure it’s case by case for most programs.

They can still return to our team. Until they sign a scholarship elsewhere, that alternative is available. Once the spring semester begins, they are either enrolled in school or else they aren't. I would not expect any of them to play in the MCB, although there is technically a convoluted way to do it if they would want to, as long as they don't commit somewhere else first.

I believe Coach Stoops said earlier this week that they would not play this bowl game.

Last year there were a few that played in the bowl game.
