I notice the cal fans are back. The portal just opened and we have returning players this year, and only 4 or 5 more portal kids to get you have to be picky on how you spend your money, plus sometimes things don’t work out. Guys, the kid had a late growth issue .. from 6’2 freshman guard in hs to 6’10 by sr year, and then grew 1 more inch or so as freshman in college. He got injured, which is absolutely normal when you grow almost a foot. Remember, Thiero having similar issues because he was growing still……So he redshirted, rehabbed , added 27 lbs of muscle and had a very good year . He is planning to add another 15 lbs by begging of next season.

To say you didn’t offer full NIL cause injury is BS! If you have concerns of injuries you do medical tests just like the pros do. You either clear him medically or not. If this is truth that means that Kentucky basketball program is run by amateurs.

I refuse to believe that this story is true for the sake of our program.

Because as a program you have to protect yourself from scenarios where a player decides to use an injury as an excuse to sideline themselves and protect their draft stock. There has to be some level of accountability and expectation of services rendered before checks are written and cashed.

That only makes too much sense and would hold players accountable
