Appalachian State at Kentucky (Sat)

Rhodes gets another error. We'll probably maintain our stranglehold on last place in SEC fielding at the end of this weekend.

Bloop fly single for Elliot Curtis shows the advantage of our deep centerfield.

Another bloop fly single by Collett and then a deeper sacrifice fly scores a run.

Two big innings for the Cats. Can we finally have some confident? Would be great.

Zack Lee gets two ground outs, a walk and a balk followed by a fly out.

10 strikeouts for Cats pitching through 7 innings but we have far too many give me plays. Two balks, a WP, and 1 HBP.

Ha! Estep gets so excited in getting his first hit that he's out at 2nd trying to stretch a single into a double. We get one more to make it 21-4.

Gambino getting to pitch the 8th.

**** edit I was an inning ahead of myself.

The shadow is now across the plate. Should help Gambino. Three ground outs and to the bottom of the 8th.

Ron Cole is in to close it out. We batted .382 today. Should help a lot of players.

Cole closes it out I think with 3 strike outs. Appears to know to throw strikes with a 17 run lead.

I'm not sure it is all Kessler, but the SB plays haven't been that close. At least, the ones I saw. Neither one was close today, but the first one was a pitch down and in so was pretty difficult.

The ones I have seen are largely on the pitchers. Runners are taking massive leads.
