Anyone who has ever watched Kansas shouldn't be surprised

This is why they are unbeatable at home. Whenever there are two teams that play the same style and have equal talent, and yet there is a more than 2-1 difference in FTs, something is wrong.

But it literally happens at ever KU home game. I give their fans credit - they are great. And clearly it intimidates the officials.

We let the air out of the ball early 2nd half, then got caught standing around on defense. Home court advantage was at its best tonite no doubt. They won't be playing at home come March, thus a early exit.

It's the most free throws Kansas has shot in 1 game in 20 years. It's hard not to say there was a bias with the officials, but we still should have won the game.

I believe every time we hit a dry spurt offensively someone will come on here and say "we let the air out of the ball". Couldn't it just be us struggling to get in a rythym during that time due to Cal constantly having to change the line up due to all the foul trouble?

I guess Cal gets a bad rap after the Whisky game with the shot clock violations. As you mentioned, teams do get in a funk at some point during a game, but of late, it seems he likes running the clock down. Good point though.

it was obvious to me that the refs had an agenda. We took the game to overtime because this lousy 4 seed team could not put us away by the end of regulation. We should move in the polls but not backwards. I think this game speaks volumes about our potential. Im impressed with our effort and not impressed with the judgment of the refs.

There was no way we were going to win tonight. Notice how the calls changed when the second half started? We were very lucky to have taken it to OT. How many times have we seen the refs bail out KU at home? Reminds me of one of Pitino's teams playing at Indiana and Vanderbilt where the FT disparity was ridiculous.
