Kennard isn't even going to start this year, so I'm not sure what you're talking about when you say we expect him and Allen to be a "dynamic scoring duo." And you really think Kennard looked out of place in the McDAA game? Really dude?
Not to mention that Kennard easily won the McDAA 3-point contest. Let's just ignore that, and the fact that he was actually really good in the actual game. We'll go with your opinion that he was "out of place." I'm sure you would think that if Kennard had committed to Kentucky, which he could have done.
And yeah dude, we all realize that Jeter and Obi aren't going to be as good as Okafor. That's ok though, because we don't have to have a center like Okafor to win a title. We won the national title in 2010 with Brian Zoubek at center. And there's this kid named Brandon Ingram who's a versatile forward like Winslow, he'll help us out this year. Maybe you've heard of him.
There is quite literally a 0% chance that we end up in the NIT this year. Grayson Allen will be our leading scorer and be a 1st round pick after this year. It's hilarious that you just discount Grayson Allen winning the game for Duke in the national title, like it was just nothing. Allen is going to explode this year. Him and Ingram will be our leading scorers. Guys like Matt Jones (who you also didn't even mention), Amile Jefferson, Luke Kennard, and the 3 centers Jeter, Obi, and Plumlee will be solid role players. That is a damn solid team, and it's not considerably worse on paper (if at all) than Kentucky's team. Unless you're completely blinded by your bias toward UK, which you are, it's basically splitting hairs between UK and Duke's rosters on paper going into next year.
Your post is filled with bias and bullshit rationalizations about Duke's players. Let me guess, you think Charles Matthews is severely underrated, while Chase Jeter just simply doesn't strike you as a 5-star player. That's very impartial thinking on your part, man. You come across as an idiot when you rationalize things like that. Just try and be honest with yourself, man.
