I think Ramon Jefferson was a 5th Year Senior. However since he is not able to play this year due to being injured after just 2nd carry in first game will he possibly be granted another year of eligibility next year?

Yeah, have to request it. Don't know if NCAA will treat it differently with him being a 6th year senior - he had a freshman redshirt year, a year at Maine, a year in juco or something like that, 2 years at Sam Houston State, then this is year 6. Or if he wants to spend a 7th year in college.

How did I miss that his freshman year he was coached by Liam Coen at Maine?

As stated above, he may be able to get a medical hardship, but I'm not sure if that still applies for guys taking their "COVID/Super-senior" seasons.

If he can fully recover, it could certainly be helpful having extra depth in the RB room, but it's a big question to ask a guy to return for a 7th college FB season
