Anyone know why Brea is listed as questionable for tomorrow?

It couldn’t be from playing defense. Interesting.

Everytime I see his username I think of some lonely Cal fan lurking on RR for AY NUL.
I just blocked that 🤡. Thought I already had. My ignore list has grown in the last week.
Makes for a much more enjoyable experience here.
Nothing wrong with criticism. But there is a difference between criticism and flat out trolling, hating on everything UK. Why rival fans spend so much time here is beyond me. They have no life whatsoever. I have zero intrest in posting on another teams site.

I don't think Covid or pretty much any other illness causes weird dreams. Dreams usually happen in the REM stage, and that's not where deep sleep occurs, so you're likely just restless while trying to sleep.
I have to disagree. The only time I ever have nightmares is when I have a fever. Every single
time I have had a nightmare I had a fever.

We need some dirt on us.
I figured was all that creek water we played in back in the 70/80s being we was in the water from daylight to dark about every day from spring to fall.. Septic tanks were basically an option back then.. Most ran theirs straight into the creeks then we went swimming fishing and everything else in that tainted water 😂

Stress on the body. That's when you have nightmares the most. And let me tell you, stress dreams SUCK. Oh they suck. I've had them where the house was on fire while a tornado was coming. Or you walk outside and you're like in space with Jupiter where the moon should be and that megalophobia panic kinda sets in. I hate stress dreams.

Yes, things would have come a bit easier for this UK team if they had landed a legit star like Lanier.

In terms of guys we went after that we missed on, he's in my top 15 "coveted but couldn't get" list over the last 30 years. Here's my list. It only includes guys I actually followed in recruiting at the time, so guys like Iverson didn't make the cut because I didn't really follow their recruitment.

My "All-Coveted but Couldn't Get" team:

#15. Larry Hughes (we had a shot, but he stayed home in St. Louis).
#14. Xavier Henry (I didn't know how much Wall hated him at the time).
#13. Chris Duhon (Tubby's missing link).
#12. Thaddeus Young (one of the coolest names ever).
#11. Kyrie Irving
#10. R.J. Barrett
#9. Malik Newman (I was so wrong about this kid).
#8. Zion Williamson
#7. Chaz Lanier
#6. Vincent Yarbrough
#5. Byron Mouton (fun player, and would have given us our three-point threat on that 1999 team).
#4. Andrew Wiggins (we all wanted this kid in Lexington)
#3. Darius Rice
#2. Ray Allen (most of this was retroactive when I saw him play during his first year at UConn).
#1. Tracy McGrady
Three of mine were actually on campus. Shawn Kemp, Enes Kanter, and Shaedon Sharp.

I hope it’s not Noro. I hear the Noro is awful this year. Thankfully I haven’t thrown up from an illness in over 20 years. Only had the flu 2X ever & never had a flu shot. Had Covid a few times but nothing more than a 99 temp each time and didn’t even really feel sick. I do get a couple sinus or ear infections each year and they make me feel miserable.

My son and I, along with 3 of my nephews, all had the flu about a week before Christmas. My wife had it too but it was a milder case because she had a flu shot (works in healthcare). Then last week my wife got the norovirus and couldn’t keep anything down, had to be hospitalized for two days because she has type 1 diabetes and went into DKA. Now I have a headache and extreme fatigue and nausea which is how covid has felt the first 2-3 times I’ve had it. So there is definitely A LOT of stuff going around right now.

i am old enough to remember when Ralph Sampson, James Worthy, Sam Bowie and Derrick Hord all visited UK on the same recruiting weekend. Joe B. and Leonard Hamilton had it going on back then.
Derrick Hord blast from the past. Maybe the only player that put up better stats as a Freshmen and Sophomore than he did as a Junior and Senior.
Seemed to get worse every year. I thought he was going to be at the very least SEC player of the year before he graduated.
Would love to know some info on what went wrong with his UK career.

My woman has had the china virus about 5 times.. Came to the conclusion that I can't catch it if I couldn't get it off her.. If someone wants any,, its O+.. But they might could get an instant buzz.. 😁
Wife, Daughter, MIL, BIL, Friends, and work mates all got the China virus. Don't know why I didn't but, I can do without it.

Seems like I saw him toward the end of the game acting a little gimpy on one of his ankles, but kept playing. But this old man sees a lot of shit. Lol

I thought the same about Ohio State, and they kicked our butts on a neutral court.

We'll have to be insane to win without Brea. We have to play insane every game in order to win in the SEC with our lack of star power and total dependency on efficient, team basketball.

Nothing will ever come easy for this UK team in the SEC.

Sounds like the crystal ball talking.

Rest up both of you….I just got over Covid. Was just a bad cold symptoms for me and my dad.
Daughter negative this morning. Fastest Covid recovery I've ever seen. First symptoms last Thursday morning, worst day Friday, dramatic improvement and then negative this morning (but tired).

I'm already coming around after the mildest of three 'Rona's I've had in 4 years (last time I had it was Nov 2022). I suspect I'll be negative tomorrow. My first symptom was around 11:30 pm Friday night, so negative tomorrow would be on the same fast track as the kid. We did just have the vax booster in Oct/Nov '24 so that's likely playing some role in the reduction of symptoms and longevity (let's not make this an anti-vax argument...let me enjoy that it could be a factor).

Let's hope we don't see you in here in the next couple of weeks asking for prayers because you're tossing your guts out all day (from a jinx post)! :)

You may be 100% right, but I’m guessing you had it but the symptoms were so mild you didn’t know it. The first time I had it my whole family did, I was stuck doing fever checks all night etc. I never got sick but the pulmonologist ran some test, I had the antibodies but never knew I was sick.

I don’t get sick either, only one in my family to not get the china virus or at least no symptoms if I did. Never get flu shots or anything.
I used to not get flu shots because I would inevitably get the flu after each shot and be down for 3 days. Then they made some improvements on the formulation (my wife's cousin is a PhD immunologist/virologist who works on these things) a few years ago and I started back up on annual jabs with no side effects.

One interesting tidbit - since having the Wuhan for the first time in Feb 2022, I have not had any other illnesses except Wuhan (Nov '22, and Jan '25). Not a head cold, not a cough, not the shits, no flu, nothing. I used to guarantee getting sick at least 1-2 times a year, especially with how much I travel on planes for work (if someone was coughing, I would have that cough in 3 days guaranteed). But going on 3 years and the only three illnesses I've had are the Wuhan - two out of three being mild. The one from Nov '22 hit us while we were in Jamaica but we thought it was just a hangover from the all-inclusive beverages..got home and tested and bam - immediately positive within seconds on the test.

As stated above, though, my daughter is bulletproof like Supafuzz. While I've only had the 'Rona three times, we've had at least 6-7 instances where a kid or kids had it. She's avoided it every single time.
