Anyone know how to message someone?

I've tried everything I think ...what am I missing?

Do both people have to be following one another to message each other? It's the only thing I haven't tried.

The pesron you are trying to message may have pm's turned off. Or, and this is just a guess, there is a follow option now, so maybe one or both parties have to be following each other in order to pm.
