I actually find it kind of refreshing that the staff has kept a lid on things. A lot of people out there learning some patience. That's a good thing, right?

This post was a little sarcastic. I'm just amazed at how silent this is locally. No interviews with him. No big stories. It's pretty sad how little is being said about it. The UK sports "media" needed a nap I guess

Maybe I just haven't paid enough attention to the media and they're going bonkers on some sites of which I'm not aware. I get more UK updates and more quickly on the message boards still than from any other media source

On the one hand I've thought the same thing. However, the posting on the UK site has been taken down, they could have simply extended it if necessary. Would like to see them make it official then a brief interview on ESPN prime time tonight during the BB game.

I can understand the Boise fans being upset. It happens. Bush Hamdan helped turn their program around and was in the process of doing some big things there. Then boom, he's gone. I get it. It isn't easy to lose a coach that is showing such huge promise, both on the field and the recruiting trail. But at the same time, you also have to be realistic and expect it. If he is as successful here as we all hope he will be, we will need to be mentally prepared for an even bigger fish to come calling in a couple years. This is just how things are. When it happens, all you can do is find the best available replacement and drive on.
