Anyone else see Captain Marvel?

Saw the movie with the wifey and both really liked the movie. All the behind the scenes agendas against the movie was such BS. I thought it was worth watching even just for Fury and the Cat (goose) alone.

Its already done 500 Million in just 5 days.... pretty impressive. It definitely gets me excited for avengers end game .

I saw it with my kids and wife. Was good, not great. Middle of the road for an MCU flick.
Felt they tried to force some things and hurry it along.

I happen to like the Marvel movies. They're good entertainment. I don't really care what any else thinks.

I thought it was better than The Dark Knight trilogy and all Avengers movies. Probably the best movie of the last 15 years.

I’m going to see it for the third time tonightl.

I liked it, but it actually felt a little too short. I've come to expect 2:30 from superhero movies, and wouldn't have minded this one to be that long to develop the characters a bit more.

I think this movie was more of a filler movie instead of building her up to have a number of sequels like Captain America for instance. They just needed to connect the dots from the end of Infinity War and her showing up in Endgame.

They probably will end up making another movie of hers though with it doing well at the box office. If not she probably will just fly off (after Endgame) and do her thing back in space somewhere and not be heard of again. Unless a major threat arises like Thanos.

I'm hoping they do a Secret Wars storyline with the Beyonder as a major enemy in the future. I don't know if it will ever happen now with all of the major characters that will be leaving after this phase. That storyline needs a full roster of heroes and villains to make it work properly.

I thought it was pretty good. Middle of the pack for MCU movies. When she went binary at the end was the kicker to get ready for Endgame. The mid credit scene was also awesome. Definitely has me ready for Endgame in about a month.
