It's more realistic that Flagg would stay then it would be for Flagg and Boozers to play together at Duke.
McHale continues to get shafted when people discuss great players. An unstoppable offense player, best feet in the game, post moves for days, old man basketball and donāt let his appearance fool, tough as nails. Shortened his own career by playing through injury because he was that dependable and that much of a team player. Clearly off topic, but I love me some Kevin McHale.

If the rumors are true, last season he got close to $8M total. If that is actually the case, $10M is not that far off for Duke. NIL is only one component of what some of these guys are getting paid.
Maybe but earnings arenāt the same as take home dollars. Itās possible but there arenāt that many billionaires, the cry baby plays now as do tons of other guys who have career earnings in the hundreds of millions of dollars and to my knowledge there arenāt any billionaires besides the two guys I mentioned. Magic is probably one I forgot but the vast majority of his money came post retirement. It could be said AD, DC, and John Wall could have had those types of careers that put them as billionaires but it most likely wonāt happen for any of them and two were top picks.

Probably not working at my current job, but I would definitely do something. I would take my time and find something that I absolutely love doing and likely has some sort of charitable contribution.

In case you haven't noticed NBA salaries have exploded in recent years so what happened decades ago isn't really relevant. I'd say Jordan, Lebron, Magic, and Steph are already billionaires or are well on the way and many more will follow. I don't believe my statement is wrong; I just understand compound interest. If you invest 40 million$ per year for 5 years and don't touch it you will likely be in billionaire range in 20 years even if you waste or give away each year's new income after that.
Have you saw the lifestyle most of these guys live? Most of them fondle it from day one. š¤£
Am I wrong about the math? That guys making $80,000,000 to $100,000,000 per year in salary plus endorsements can't be billionaires in 20 years IF they aren't fools with their money?
That is the problem because most are fools with their money. They have too many family and friends as "hangers on" who milk them dry.
Everybody knows that but not ALL of them are like that and they don't have to be like that. They still have the opportunity. You don't have to save a billion dollars from your salary to become a billionaire. Investing $50,000,000 one time and get average returns and that would be upwards of $200,000,000 in 20 years.
There are only 4 nba players who became billionaires. Steph isnāt there, yet.
Jordan and Magic have crossed that boundary. When Lebron and Steph hang up the gym shoes they'll probably cross do so as well. It's what you do on the business side outside of the sport that gets a player to the big money.
