While browsing through various recruits before NSD, as I do every year, I came across a player by the name of Karsman Johnson. With our recent de-commits. This player looks legitimate and was being looked at by UK at some point. I have no idea in what capacity. I do know that Tennessee does not really have any rides left and if they were our main competition it looks like UK would be in GREAT shape to land him.
If ANYBODY else has any insight it'd be greatly appreciated.
Karsman is a 6'3" 265LB Strong Side Defensive End. He grew up in Nashville, TN, but is currently enrolled at Northeast Oklahoma A&M in Miami, OK (JUCO). He has been given a respectable evaluation by Rivals and 24/7. Rivals has his list narrowed down to Kentucky and Tennessee with both schools having offered. USC, Oregon , FSU, Ole Miss and Missouri are showing interest according to 24/7.
From little I have heard about him, he is EXTREMELY talented and could help us out in a big way from day one. He may not be an immediate starter, but would give us quality depth at whichever situation he ultimately ends up with.
Does anyone else have anymore information on him?

"Also on the Northeastern Oklahoma roster is Karsman Johnson, a 6-3,
270-pound defensive lineman from McGavock who spent last season at
Ventura (Calif.) Community College.
"Karsman has a lot of talent,"
Held said. "He has to take care of business in the classroom. He could
redshirt this year if he's not ready to go academically, but he's a kid
we want in the program. In the weight room and on the field, he's a guy
that stands out.""

If we have an extra spot at the end of that day, I would be ALL FOR giving Karsman a call as long as he was decently close to qualifying!
P.S. As I check out the list of the top100 JUCO players (https://rivals.yahoo.com/LSU/football/recruiting/rankings/rank-3508/0) There are SO FREAKING MANY SEC schools LOADING up on them! I always knew that certain players took a lot of JUCO's, but not like this!
