Wow!! I guess the GM decided to teach AD and the King a lesson of what happens when you complain about needing more talent. AD said they needed a center because he always plays better when he is in the 4 spot. Well I guess that will have to happen somewhere else. Maybe the King master minded this while playing AD for a fool. I don't believe this trade took place without the King's approval.

Why would Dallas do this? Unreal. I love AD....favorite Cal era player by a long bit-but this one makes 0 sense to me why Dallas would do this.
This makes no sense to me . Luka is what 25 years old . You don’t just give up on that because of this being your worry
They just reported that the Mavs grew tired of him being unwilling to get his fat butt in shape.
The Lakers seem to always swindl teams in trades.

The Dallas Mavericks are trading Luka Doncic to the Los Angeles Lakers for Anthony Davis and a 2029 first-round pick, sources told ESPN's Shams Charania.
You might want to hold off on thinking the Lakers swindled someone. There are discussions about potential long-term health issues. Two injured players were traded.
The problem is that you might get away with poor conditioning when you are young, but as athletes get older (playing time and not age) the body will not holdup if you are not doing the right thing. Apparently, the Mavs must feel like his current injury is due to poor conditioning. I have no idea just guessing and trying to make sense out of it based on what is being said on the NBA channel.
I was a lakers fan from a small kid watching the showtime Lakers until after Kobe. They drafted Ball and that mess and I kinda quit caring. They signed LeBron and I was done. I love Luca’s game but he is such a baby. Now the lakers have two guys that can’t play off the ball and possibly the biggest two cry babies in the league. Sounds like a winner. 😂
