I know it's early (N=7), but every player on the team who has attempted a shot in a game, except for 1, is shooting 50%+ on the season. 8 of the 9 scholarship players. 5 of them are well over 50% (52.6%+). The team is making 51.8%, 3% higher than our best year in the 2000's. Now SEC play always lowers our shooting %, so we might not finish >50%. But right now, wow!

To put that in perspective, in the 2000's the highest shooting % by the team is 48.8% by the 12 National Champs. Even that team only had 2 guys 50% plus (Davis at 62% and Jones at exactly 50%).

So much to like about this team, yes it is early and there will be bumps in the road but they will be fun to watch. If and when we add 2 bigs we could see off the chart stuff. They may not be '12 or '15 good but it could be on the table. We will have a clearer picture by mid to late December
