We can lose it and still have the same expectations most of us came into the year with.To me that game is going to tell us alot about where Kentucky is and how they will compete in the league. Honestly it’s a game Kentucky can’t lose
Can't disagree.Honestly it’s a game Kentucky can’t lose
Fair, I just see it as them needing a win to start off conference play, and especially at ruppWe can lose it and still have the same expectations most of us came into the year with.
We absolutely cannot lose it and have the expectations the majority of us bought into after the Duke/Gonzaga wins.
The UF game is def an indicator which of those sets of expectations are more likely and realistic
Ohio states guards are JV level compared to what Florida has, that’s why I’m concernedIf Kentucky hadn't stunk against Ohio State I imagine we still would have been excited to start league play expecting a win. Now, this game is a mystery as to whether we see the Kentucky team of late November/early December or the more recent one. Before Ohio State I thought we wouldn't be losing any home games. Now?
I agree must not lose a home court gameTo me that game is going to tell us alot about where Kentucky is and how they will compete in the league. Honestly it’s a game Kentucky can’t lose

Richard, Clayton and Martin are the best backcourt in college basketball, so yes the Ohio state backcourt is nowhere near them. They are good but nowhere near FloridaThat’s ridiculous. Thornton was all B10 last year. Mobley is one of the best shooters in the country and Ques Glover actually came from Florida back during the Maxey year.
Bruce Thornton is not JV level in any sense.Ohio states guards are JV level compared to what Florida has, that’s why I’m concerned
It seems like it's even more important than usual to hold serve at home this yearFair, I just see it as them needing a win to start off conference play, and especially at rupp
11 a.m. tip w/ no student body on campus...may not be the perfect recipe for an electric atmosphere.I would expect UK to come out with maximum intensity (contrary to what we all saw against OSU). SEC home opener against an undefeated top 5/10 team. Crowd will be electric, should be plenty of energy in the building.
All that is more then enough on its own to make this a competitive game (again, unlike the OSU no-show).
Whether or not UK wins is a separate conversation, but I am anticipating a very competitive game.
Compared to floridas guards he ain’t close, very good player but floridas guards are a lot better than Bruce ThorntonBruce Thornton is not JV level in any sense.
I wouldn't worry about that.11 a.m. tip w/ no student body on campus...may not be the perfect recipe for an electric atmosphere.
Yeah watching Monday night football and had a promo for the game as said 11 am I thought I heard it wrongCrazy this game is at 11am.
Relax guys! No-one in the SEC will go undefeated at home. This leauge will be the best conference in the country this year.I agree must not lose a home court game
Actually I've found the crowd to be way more electric when the students are gone and the gray hairs sold off their tickets. When it's the fans that rarely get into Rupp, that's when Rupp is at its best.11 a.m. tip w/ no student body on campus...may not be the perfect recipe for an electric atmosphere.
Very good trio, but not one of the three is a pg.Richard, Clayton and Martin are the best backcourt in college basketball, so yes the Ohio state backcourt is nowhere near them. They are good but nowhere near Florida

I think every team sees our week spot is to play us tough on D and hope the ref allows it. All that zoom, boom, zoom is great on paper. too bad we don't play on paper.I could see the game being like the bama game in rupp last year where neither team plays any defense and it’s just who can score more
Yeah dude there isn't as much of a difference as you are acting like. The way you try to make it sound is af it is nba guys compared to good high school players. Using the phrase nowhere near as good as Florida shouldn't be used when both teams are comprised of college players.Richard, Clayton and Martin are the best backcourt in college basketball, so yes the Ohio state backcourt is nowhere near them. I believe Florida‘s ranking is a bit inflated. Their best win is over a UNC team that probably won’t make the tournament. The SEC will shine some light on the Gators as a team that is not among the best 5-6 in the league.Well I disagree.
I don’t think Florida has played all that good of a schedule and they rely on those three (and Aberdeen) a lot. I think Condon is actually a better player than people are giving him credit for too. But I’d put either 4 other SEC PGs ahead of Clayton or 4 other scorers ahead of him.
Do we dodge Auburn on the road this year? That'll help, so long as we get them at homeThis is a very early MUST WIN SEC game! We still have to go to (6) Florida, (1) Tennessee, (24) Ole Miss, (17) Mississippi State, Texas and (5) Alabama. We have to hold serve at home.
Tend to agree.I believe Florida‘s ranking is a bit inflated.
I can’t help but wonder, what ever happened with the Golden scandal? These type of allegations usually don’t just go away, but no one is talking about it.
Heard they call him Todd Golden Showers around campus
Lol, were there not actually any photos found on his device that he'd taken of girls in places where they were unaware he was photographing them? Did he not get caught stalking them, showing up at places unannounced to meet with them? That compliance department can do all what it wants to push it under the rug, going to court or a settlement will change all that.
