Texas barely got in. I'm not going to lose a whole lot of sleep over this one.
To the final four:Based on seeding what is their expected record? What conference will do better?
I think we will be 75% of the Final Four. Possibly 100%.Prepare yourself. Here it comes. SEC won't even be .500 in the tournament
That was fast. Texas will make another mistake if they hire Sean Miller. If I’m that AD, I call Will Wade and see if there is any chance he wants to come to Austin instead of Raleigh. It’s been done before:Apparently not. It surprises me a little that they’re acting after only 2 years if that’s true, but I do think it’s the right move for them. They kind of felt forced to hire him full time after the team made an Elite 8 with him as interim coach, but his track record at Fresno State and UTEP would have never even whiffed a P5 job otherwise. They should be able to do better with all the resources they have.
I thought the refs may call more fouls in NCAA tourney, but early in TX/XAV game I saw several obvious fouls not called. I’m not sure. All I’m thinking is if they are really going to call a very clean tournament then it sure does bode well for us.
Yeah, Johnson took some bad forced shots late that sealed their fate.Texas was a 1 man show.. When that isn’t working? Well… you see what happens ..
Here’s hopingI thought the refs may call more fouls in NCAA tourney, but early in TX/XAV game I saw several obvious fouls not called. I’m not sure.
I fully expect SEC trans to struggle playing actual basketball when the refs have been allowing league play to resemble mid-2000s Big East gridiron round ball.
Not only a home game for Xavier playing the 14th SEC team to get in. But playing a SEC team that so underperformed this season that they are getting ready to fire their coach. That was a home game for Xavier. And it was the 14th best SEC team.
