Wooden ran the most successful cheating program in the history of CBB that not even UNC can top.

Pitino has merely devolved into a slime mold. His actual cheating record while at UL pales in comparison to UCLA, UNC, Syracuse, etc.

Material goods in exchange for commitments. UL did it for four years. The others mentioned were in it for a decade or more.

I agree it's dirty, but the difference is not just in what or who was exchanged, but the length of time it was occurring. When looking at that metric, UL pales. Depending upon how much more serious you consider the prostitution ring and underage sex (assault?), then you could definitely make the point that Rick is a sleaze. However, that does not make him any more a cheater than Wooden or Roy.

IMO, there's a distinction between world-class cheater and sleazeball. If Rick was a great cheater, why would his program resort to prostitutes?

I left it open to interpretation, anyway, with my previous post.
