That would be hilarious honestly but there will always be a desperate school that will pay up. Maybe not as much as their plan thought. If he waited until like August or right before if a star player gets hurt or something he may be able to really stick it to a team.
I am thinking a lighter version of Asa Newell. I think he will be very good at UT and I know all of us would have loved for him to have picked us instead.

We absolutely should not do that. And I think Pope feels that way.
I'd say at least one good reason he went to Tennessee was because of their Strength and Conditioning coach/program. They'll have him a little tougher in the next 6 months, but I say he is probably still going to get bumped around of he tries a lot of 4 action. Probably just use him as a jumbo wing.

Tennessee still looks rather weak. They got Okpara back and add Gillespie, Ament, Carey from Vandy. They'll need more to be a contender. Right now, Texas, Vandy, Ole Miss, Missouri, Auburn, Bama, Arkansas, and Kentucky are better.
To me, Tennessee and Florida need a little more also to be a tournament teams. Then the rest don't look like they would make it - UGA, LSU, MSU, Oklahoma, USC, A&M

As long as that goof is still the coach you could give him the 92 dream team and he still couldn't win $hit with them.
Doesn't he understand that one of the steps to be a national championship team you have to make it to a Final 4. He definitely isn't going to take them where no UT team has gone before...................
