Amari with the triple double!

Good for him.... is he the only legit pro on our roster? Oweh athletic but not skilled enough at 6' 4". Jxon Robinaon much too weak... should be in the weight room daily.

Can we as fans not even be happy one shred for our big guy. Sheesh
No, because it doesn't matter when he plays shit defense and gives up 30 points. Last I checked it was who had the most points that won not who had a decent offensive game. He is 7 feet tall can barely dunk a ball and plays like he is 6'4" in the lane. Good for him. Congrats on a tri[ple double but your team got punked and looked like shit.

Awesome. But somewhat ironic since I just congratulated him in the arky game for getting a triple double. Points, rebounds, and turnovers! 🤣

OK we’re happy for him.

But he reached the mark in the final garbage moments of a really ugly embarrassing loss. Just how much excitement are we required to muster up for that?

that is pope's fault
Pope didn’t injure both of his point guards. Butler is basically the only guy on the team capable of collapsing the defense to create openings to dish out to 3 point shooters. Even if other guards do it, you are now eliminating one of your 3 point shooters as he is the one with the ball penetrating now. Pope is trying to create that with Amari, hoping sometimes he gets an easy layup and sometimes a second defender comes to help and opens up a shooter.

I’m not saying it’s the best plan but honestly, he’s kind of short on options.

This is akin to saying that it’s Pope’s fault that both of this roster’s point guards are out with injury. Because that’s the only reason Amari is being used so much in that role right now …desperation.

So is that what you believe, that Pope is to blame for Butler and Kriisa’s injuries?

Amari has really stepped up in the last few games. Part necessity, and part because he is starting to take it personally. Even in a loss he deserves to be recognized. Now if only some of our other players would step up to the plate. Right now, Amari is the only one who has a chance to sit on an NBA bench, albeit a very small chance.

Also be sure to recognize a more meaningful statistic: he had the second-worst plus/minus on the team behind Almanor. Amari managed to have a -18 in 26 minutes. I don't have access to the advanced stats, but I do know what they will show: Amari was scored on at will. Whether it was their big, who came in as a known 3-point threat, or any number of guys in the paint, Amari was abused and gave up a ton of points on the other end.
