He is so enamored with looking sweet instead of being effective. Like we need a tall muscular finesse man. Lol.
It makes zero sense.
Ton of talent and heart. But seems emotionally immature and soft. Hope he plays well tomorrow. We need him to.
He's just not a very gifted offensive player outside of his passing ability which is admittedly great for a guy his size.
Lacks explosion around the rim. Doesn't have good touch/feel. Can't shoot. He'll make good money playing in one of the better European leagues if he plays it smart.

With Amari, I see a lot of self doubt or something going on between his ears. Sometimes he looks defeated after a good play. Maybe it's just a British dour thing? All I know for sure is, it's okay to dunk the freaking bAll, Amari!
He's one of the main reasons UK has had success this season. Just criticism is ok. Fair, not personal attacks. You are not much of a fan to say that about anyone, let alone a UK player. Get some perspective.
There is no discussing this when it has been stated that we would be a 2 seed without Amari. Life is too short.
I had read that he tweaked his back (not another injury) during practice on Thursday. Pope said that might explain his game Friday. Hope is is better todayl

I can handle ALMOST everything that comes along with Amari Williams. He has grown on me as the season has played out.
What I can’t handle is when he doesn’t use his length on defense, playing with his hands at his side while guards are scoring in the paint. Big guys that don’t look interested in blocking shots drive me insane.

One of the most critical parts of good defense is getting the rebound after the other team misses and Oscar was pretty good at that...
Amari gets all of this grief because of how good he could be. Dunk the damn ball, take it personal when guards don’t respect you.
