So, Barnes going lottery after deciding to skip lottery after a freshman (and now a starter on the champs) is bad?
McAdoo said he wanted to stay longer at UNC even though he was projected lottery after freshman year (in which he never played significant minutes until the end). Is it Roy's fault that JMM chose to expose his overrating by coming back? By the way, is JMM still in the league?
Show us these shots JP took at Roy. Are you talking about the latest SI article on JP? How some here can continue to just throw as much merde against the wall and blatantly lie and not get called out is beyond me.
Finally, should I blame UK's latest low in recruiting on Cal's 'failures' with the twins, Dakari, and other top 10 players who didn't go lottery-top 15?
Jesus what an idiot.
Harry Barnes was supposed to be the greatest player since Lebron. Turns out he had a pretty disappointing freshman year where an ESPN analyst had to create a graphic talking about how he wouldn't suck so bad if he just hit more shots. Then he came back, and again, accomplished not much, no thanks to Roy, who had no idea how to actually run plays for him. He made it through two years at Carolina with an INSANE cast around him and won exactly jack squat. He maybe should have spent more time at basketball and a little less worrying about his brand, which he talked incessantly about.
JMM was ferociously talented. Turns out, again, Roy had zero idea how to use him. He posted historically bad advanced metrics, and became an absolute joke... A top top recruit who barely made it to the league.
JP said he wouldn't have been used right at UNC, and wouldn't have learned much. I've literally never heard a recruit say those sorts of things about their coach. Roy responded by saying JPs decision wasn't very intelligent. I almost wonder how there is any space left under the bus for JP.
Listen... Maybe you don't know this... But here, check this out.
