I think some here may be too dismissive of what Almonor might bring to Kentucky - especially on the defensive end. He sounds like someone who will commit to shutting down just about anyone.
Of special interest to me: Almonor scored 23 points in a first-four win in the NCAA tournament. But then he was willing to totally subjugate his offensive game to focus on frustrating Edey.
The more I read about this guy, the more one former Cat comes to mind: Heshimu Evans.
