I don't know if it was so much a bad game as a team playing out their wazoo. We'd better get used to it, it's going to be more pronounced than usual this year. The SEC is perceived as a bad league and UK is going to be the "plum" week in and week out.
Go back and look...some of the best teams of the past decade have lost 4 or 5 games during the season and then rolled in the tourney.
I'm talking about the Carolina's and Florida's. It isn't normal to play at a lights out high level every single night. We might go 40-0, but I'm telling ya, 36-4 is still a great season.

I get where your coming from but let's give the Rebels some credit. We outrebounded them, had 16 assists, 6 steals, and 7 blocks against 10 TO's. We also hit 55% from 3 and 70% from the FT line. Obviously the "bigs" didn't have a great game, and Tyler missed all his 3's (but did have 7 assists). Still, Ole Miss could have won the game.
I've been hearing and reading all this stuff from around the country about how we'll go undefeated because the SEC is so weak. Meh. They just don't understand how the rest of the league plays when the opponent is our Cat's. If they played this way against everybody else the SEC would dominate.
It certainly won't get easier at A&M, 'Bama, and SC. Hold on because it's going to be quite the ride.

Fair post but don't look for anyone else to shoot any better v UK than Ole Can't Miss did from the field, three and FTs.
