For so much size and ability this young man is lacking something intangible inside. My gosh, what a waste of talent to date. I hope somehow Cal gets him going but I'm fairly confident at this point that ship has sailed; hope I'm wrong. Lot of problems with this team but AP coulda/shoulda been the x-factor this year.

What is he actually skilled at out there. We know he's a monster athletically. He should be able to put the ball on the deck by now and get to the hoop. It's like his athleticism just doesn't translate. Super athletic just not basketball athletic. It's hard to explain really.

You're only setting yourself up for frustration if you expect more than what he has done. Great kid that will only play after this year in the D league or overseas. Reminds me of Richard Madison.

It shouldn't disappoint anyone anymore. He's been that way since his freshman year. He hasn't changed and he's not going too. He has one really good game and then blows ass the following 4 or 5 games in a row. That's just who he is.

IMO , there is NO excuse for him to not average double figures in rebounding. He has more than enough ability to do that . He just has to want it .

I wonder if there is a rule disallowing Alex from wearing wide receiver gloves? I can not think of a player who loses the ball more than him. It's strange to me that he inevitably slings the ball wildly out of his hands AT LEAST once a game and according to measurements he has big mits.

It's hard to believe how in his time here, he has not improved here at all. He's the same player as a senior that he was as a freshman.
