Alabama is never going to get over the top with Milroe at Quarterback. Michigan doing just what they did last year, beating their ass bad. He’s just making bad decisions and can’t hold on to the ball. People still think he is the man.
But by golly he sure put on a show for us at Kroger field last year…he was awesome that game even after suffering an ankle injury in the first half! If anything, uk fans can expect to see real big boy $ec football each Saturday in the fall at krogers field.Hes awful. Literally the only reason bama didn't win last year. Now completely tanking this game.

He has good games here and there. UK was definitely one of those. I cant imagine being a bama fan and staying on the milroe rollercoaster.
Well Bama has bought players for years under Saban. He was able to horde depth and had voters who would just automatically place his team in a title game or a final four despite not even winning their own division.Could you imagine having to follow a legend like Saban? Deboer's days were numbered the second he said yes to the job.
DeBoer has been a big winner every stop he's been at. I wouldn't count Bama down and out just yet. BTW, their recruiting class is top 3 last I checked. DeBoer will find a QB that fits his scheme and they'll be back winning 10+ games very quickly, imo. Their fanbase will not accept anything less.
In the NIL era, there will always be the same handful of teams that are competitive every single year with the rest of college football being middle of the pack hoping to have a year where they can win it and then fall back. They'll be fine once they get another qb.
Well, if they pretend they play uk each game, easy peasy…He has good games here and there. UK was definitely one of those. I cant imagine being a bama fan and staying on the milroe rollercoaster.
Yeah. That going for it on 4th and 7 with 12min left and down by 6 was an atrocious play calling decision. I mean, if you know you are going for it…pick up some yards on 3rd instead of throwing 2 deep balls. Some dude named Saban not being there has a lot to do with it as well.
If Bama does somehow lose this game, I’m sure the people who complained so much about the playoff will definitely write articles about how Bama didn’t belong. Surely that would happen. /s
Yep, I think this pretty much ends the "Bama got screwed argument", losing to a mediocre Michigan team without half their defensive starters.
Speaking of Michigan . . . . how the heck did a team with almost no offense beat Ohio State at Columbus and Alabama in a bowl game, where the crowd was heavily Bama? UM only went 6-5 in all their other games.
Outside of the playoff games, you cant take anything away from modern bowl matchups. Even playoff teams lose guys to the portal. Even teams that don't have guys in the portal yet all have guys looking.
Its just a different era.
All that said, bama comfortably wins last year and this year if they had even a competent qb. Instead its a rb with s good arm.
There’s a reason Saban stepped aside. The landscape completely shifted and getting rid of Kalen Deboer isn’t going to change that.Could you imagine having to follow a legend like Saban? Deboer's days were numbered the second he said yes to the job.
Yeah imagine if that team had a QB, probably could’ve lost two less games that way. But defense was solid apparently. At least the few games I watched.Yep, I think this pretty much ends the "Bama got screwed argument", losing to a mediocre Michigan team without half their defensive starters.

Milroe is a running QB and not a drop back passer. He is so misused in Bama. He could run the Veer to perfectionAlabama is never going to get over the top with Milroe at Quarterback. Sec is not very good this year good thing or we might have not won that one gameOMG! How is Alabama not up 70-0? They’re from the SEC!

No way.I would agree. If Bama misses the CFP again next season he's done.
I get what you are saying about all the bowl games and opt outs (Louisville is missing half their offense today) . . . but I gotta disagree about last year's Rose Bowl, Michigan didn't go 15-0 by smoke and mirrors, they had a hell of a team who would have been a big problem for Alabama with most any of their QBs of recent vintage.

I can’t imagine that happening with the buyout he has but to miss the playoffs next year, Bama will have to lose four games as you saw how bad they wanted to get them in with three losses. Took a Clemson field goal to knock them out.How long of a rope will Alabama give this coach? If Alabama does not make the 12 team tournament next year he will be fired. I bet you they go hard after Dabo.
Demolished? They gave up a 30 point lead and won after picking off Georgia in the end zone.Milroe and Bana demolished Georgia earlier this year but have looked mediocre ever since.
Thank you! Bama can never lose in any of these hypothetical matchups people create in deciding why Bama should always be given the benefit of the doubt.
Sort of like before NILIn the NIL era, there will always be the same handful of teams that are competitive every single year with the rest of college football being middle of the pack hoping to have a year where they can win it and then fall back.
Ohio State, Texas, Bama and Georgia should be consistent staples in this model. Oregon will probably rule the west.
Then there’s the rest of us.

Money and the unlimited transfer portal has changed a lot more than demographics, Altmeyer would maybe still be at Ole Miss, instead of Illinois, and Quinshon Judkins would still be at Ole Miss as well, instead of Ohio State. But the B10 has always been tough at the top, I never said otherwise, just not quite as good as the SEC most years. But wudu bout all dat sec speed.... face it guys... demographics have changed. You need athletes but everyone has them. You need a good qb and a well coached team. One read qbs don't cut it in big time college fb any longer.
