He’s a Youngstown guy that was at K State with the Stoops brothers. So if he goes it just shows you these guys are looking for opportunity. I think he’s scheduled to get 600k this season unless that was changed. I don’t think I’ve seen where any of the new staff money has been given to anyone beyond coordinators yet.

The good news is that The Big Blue Wall and the prospects we have on the OL right now will lure a lot of takers for the job
There's hasn't even been anything out of Alabama that Marrone is gone. Just a story that Alabama.is targeting Wolford for a job that no one knows what has happened to the current coach. The Bama fans are asking what happened. It seems pretty piss poor journalism on Bama Online.part that you say a coach is being offered a job and you're , not saying if the last guy, was fired, quit, retired or died
What I learned from Neal Brown to Troy. These stories usually start from somewhere in the know, booster, player....somewhere. Doesn't mean Wolf will leave but there is more than likely something to Bama's interest.

Well that stinks. Alabama always coming up here to Kentucky looking for players now coaches. I'm sure there are a lot of good OL coaches outside the SEC that would love coming to the SEC. Why go after ours? Has he got the rep of literally being the best or is it the reputation we have been known for the last few years with our OL?
If there's any truth to this whole thing, I've got to assume he's got a reputation of being that good of a coach and a stellar recruiter. Wolford had Schlarman's guys for a single season. Our success in the OL arena before Schlarman's passing reflects exactly zero on Wolf's capability.
Wolf was good. Would be unfortunate to lose him, but I do like the prospect of Coen bringing in more of his guys.

School sites usually get their scoop from inside the house, and they have to be even more careful because they don't want to bite the hand that feeds them a lot of the time. Marrone has caught heat all season and there's been smoke for a while he wanted back in the NFL. I've heard wilder rumors before.
Kind of a dick move if he leaves after one year. Youngstown guy who was out of a job when CMS hired him as an interim guy. Show some appreciation and loyalty

Would be ideal, but apparently Leftwich wants the Jags GM fired before he will take the job. If that doesn't happen, doubt you see Leftwich there.
No idea. We will see what Stoops comes up with. Hopefully, it is a big time recruiter. Losing Clink, Sumrall and now Wolf in eight months is a pretty big blow.
Yep, I trust Stoops to make another big hire. He has a proven track record and all these teams going after our coaches shows it.

This could get interesting. I'd be really motivated to avoid the blow to continuity and morale were I Coach Stoops. Do you put some skin in the game as HC to make sure Wolford stays? Is it worth that?
