What…… to be their OC?!?!
No they still have O’Brien. Straight up replace Marrone who Bama fans have been complaining about all seasonWhat…… to be their OC?!?!![]()
Yes I actually read the link and edited my OP.No they still have O’Brien. Straight up replace Marrone who Bama fans have been complaining about all season
What I learned from Neal Brown to Troy. These stories usually start from somewhere in the know, booster, player....somewhere. Doesn't mean Wolf will leave but there is more than likely something to Bama's interest. There's hasn't even been anything out of Alabama that Marrone is gone. Just a story that Alabama.is targeting Wolford for a job that no one knows what has happened to the current coach. The Bama fans are asking what happened. It seems pretty piss poor journalism on Bama Online.part that you say a coach is being offered a job and you're , not saying if the last guy, was fired, quit, retired or died
If there's any truth to this whole thing, I've got to assume he's got a reputation of being that good of a coach and a stellar recruiter. Wolford had Schlarman's guys for a single season. Our success in the OL arena before Schlarman's passing reflects exactly zero on Wolf's capability.Well that stinks. Alabama always coming up here to Kentucky looking for players now coaches. I'm sure there are a lot of good OL coaches outside the SEC that would love coming to the SEC. Why go after ours? Has he got the rep of literally being the best or is it the reputation we have been known for the last few years with our OL?
Wolf was good. Would be unfortunate to lose him, but I do like the prospect of Coen bringing in more of his guys.Gives Coen chance to hire someone even better.
Good coach with a rep as a recruiterWell that stinks. Alabama always coming up here to Kentucky looking for players now coaches. Nah, it's what assistants do in football. That is the business. Not many Vince Marrow type situations out there anywhere.Kind of a dick move if he leaves after one year. Youngstown guy who was out of a job when CMS hired him as an interim guy. Show some appreciation and loyalty
Would be ideal, but apparently Leftwich wants the Jags GM fired before he will take the job. If that doesn't happen, doubt you see Leftwich there. Now we have to hope leftwich gets the Jacksonville job and not the rams offensive coordinator! Right rock?
No idea. We will see what Stoops comes up with. Hopefully, it is a big time recruiter. Losing Clink, Sumrall and now Wolf in eight months is a pretty big blow.Guesses on who replaces Wolford if it is true he's Bama bound? @Rock_Cat78
Yep, I trust Stoops to make another big hire. He has a proven track record and all these teams going after our coaches shows it.No idea. We will see what Stoops comes up with. Hopefully, it is a big time recruiter. Losing Clink, Sumrall and now Wolf in eight months is a pretty big blow.

He came from the Bengals, but yes.Iirc the rbs coach we also hired from SC left a few weeks after we hired him.
Think it's already done. Just won't be announced till after signing day.I hope this doesn't happen, because the odds of finding a replacement who has the same reputation as a coach and recruiter are probably not good.
Explains why Alabama offered Farmer kid as wellThink it's already done. Just won't be announced till after signing day.
Obviously Bob StoopsGuesses on who replaces Wolford if it is true he's Bama bound? @Rock_Cat78
