Straight away too. Couldn’t have a better look for the win.LOL…. Akron Kicker missed game-winning FG on last play of the game. Headed to OT…..
Uh, that is one hundred percent the right decision. Why did IU elect to defend after winning the toss, stupid.
Akron is about to run it up their throat for the win!Win or lose, IU still sucks.
Hope so. Let me know.Akron is about to run it up their throat for the win!
3rd and 3 at the 5 and they get stuffed and elect for the tie. IU sucks lol, they had a wr wide open doing jumping jacks on the 2 point conversion and the QB forced it into 5 defenders for an INT.Hope so. Let me know.
How much have you had to drink today? Why did IU elect to defend after winning the toss, stupid.
Uh, you new around here? Not getting the IU hate, but ok
Yeah what a breakIU had a bad snap, but refs called media timeout... IU converts, Akron fails
Link “the” threadUh, you new around here?
1. We used to play them every year, so they were a rival for a while. Not getting the IU hate, but ok
I was there for the 3-0 disaster between the 40s, and Cam’s killer Defense..so no.Uh, you new around here?
Never gave one ounce of consideration to basketball.1. We used to play them every year, so they were a rival for a while.
2. Their basketball fans are annoying.
3. Their basketball team beat our to-be 2012 national champs and the fans nearly bulldozed all our players by rushing the court – including fan favorite Darius Miller.
4. They low down. They dirty. They some snitches.
5. They're IU. F-em. 🤷♂️
Only one P5 team, Georgia Tech IIRC, about 15 years ago, failed to elect to defend after winning the overtime toss. National articles were written about the gaff at the time. Why did IU elect to defend after winning the toss, stupid.
I would go for the score at home. Especially to a weaker opponent but that’s just me. Seems to me like you always should go for a TD from the 35 yard line. I could see the rationale for the 2pt conversion but they had trouble all game scoring at all.Only one P5 team, Georgia Tech IIRC, about 15 years ago, failed to elect to defend after winning the overtime toss. You always elect to defend when given the chance, so that on your possession, you know how many points you’ll need either to win or extend the game.
I think we started playing them on an annual basis starting in 1983 or 84(?) until the last game in 2005. They spanked us in that last game but overall in that 20-year span we won about 70% of them.Never gave one ounce of consideration to basketball.
They do own us in the football head-to-head. and would like to play them and beat them the handful of times to flip the series.
If you grew up on the Ky side of the river in the Evansville area like I did you would totally understand the hate for IU. They, UofL, and UT are all lumped together as the teams I hate the most. Not getting the IU hate, but ok
Tennessee, out of all, deserves the true focus. If you grew up on the Ky side of the river in the Evansville area like I did you would totally understand the hate for IU. They, UofL, and UT are all lumped together as the teams I hate the most.
Going for a TD has nothing to do with the decision to defend if you win the toss. That’s what everyone is pointing out.I would go for the score at home. Especially to a weaker opponent but that’s just me. Seems to me like you always should go for a TD from the 35 yard line. Agreed…. UT, UofL, and IU, in that order.Tennessee, out of all, deserves the true focus.
To be a tad offensive, I think you have a poor grasp of how college overtime works.Seems to me like you always should go for a TD from the 35 yard line.
Only three long-tenured P5 programs have never won 10 or more games in a single season: IU, Iowa State, and Vanderbilt.IU is arguably one of the worst P5 programs.
Colorado screwed this up just 8 days ago against Colorado St.Only one P5 team, Georgia Tech IIRC, about 15 years ago, failed to elect to defend after winning the overtime toss. National articles were written about the gaff at the time.

I did not watch the game.Fact is he screwed up, but Norvell gave him a hand to save the day.
10-7 in the 3rd.
