Does anyone know what happen the year of the 13-13 season? 2 losses the year before and 5 losses the year after. (Injuries, suspensions...)

Lost assist leader in Tommy Kron, good floor man in Larry Conley, and Pat Riley hurt his back in a water skiing accident the previous summer.

Thad Jaracz was an All-SEC and 3rd team All-American center during the 65-66 season, but his production fell way off the next year, when the defenses started paying attention to him. There was also a bit of "Team Turmoil", as starting forward Bob Tallent back-talked Coach Rupp, and was thrown off the team in mid-February. Dan Issel, Mike Pratt, and Mike Casey made their debut in the 67-68 season, so the Cats returned to form with an SEC Championship.

I think when you coach for 40 straight years with the same program, you're probably going to have a bad season every once in a while, even if you're the greatest coach at the greatest program ever.
