We have the greatest fan base (students, gray hairs, blue hairs, etc. etc.)
I can remember football seasons where the cats were 1-10 yet the first game of the following year Commonwealth stadium was full in anticipation of the coming game and season. That is students, gray hairs, brown hairs, blue hairs, blondes etc.etc.). This is an amazing fan base and here is a true story:
My father was seriously ill in great pain and stated that he wished he could die and go on to heaven. (Heart disease, Leukemia, Chemotherapy, etc.etc.) I mentioned to him What about the Wildcats? He said that he would wait until the end of the season. He passed away May of 2014. This man grew up listening to Cawood as there was no TV coverage. He was balding and never was in Rupp arena much less the lower level. His grand children wanted to go over to his house on game day to watch Grandaddy scream at the officials.
All our fans are good with differing backgrounds and there is no need to trash any particular fan because of his hair, social standing or anything else.
