I have a different opinion. I think TP will make the normal freshman to sophomore jump. From the very first practice, scrimmage and game he probably realized he needed to get much better. I would assume and hope he is in an off-season conditioning program to get stronger and quicker.

He was thrown into situations this year that he was not ready for. There was a lot of talk when Mark Sears torched him. Of course, Mark Sears torched a lot of veteran players. Sears is a 5th year senior. His freshman year at Ohio he played 20 minutes a game and averaged 8.5 points per game. Do we not think TP could average 8.5 or more if he played 20 minutes a game at Ohio? And I don't mean any disrespect to Ohio, it is just a level down from a Power 5 conference.

With more weapons around him, I believe he will be a more than adequate backup point guard next year.
