I'm happy with 6 regular season wins plus a decent bowl game. I've stated before that 1 net win every 2 years is a legitimate and steady goal for building a program like UK. (I know I'll get blasted by the people who think that sounds negative.) 6 wins this year AND next year, then 7 wins for '17 & '18 is doable and logical. It would create foundation for some 8-9 win seasons with an occasional shot at SEC East. If a team can make it to the SEC Championship game then anything is possible. (Mo. is good example.)

My reason for 1 net win every 2 years is because of the strength of the SEC. Fla is considered a down team, but still (will almost always) have more talent than us. Missouri was considered a weak football addition to the SEC and look what they've done the last couple years. I'm hoping the fan base stays positive and realistic about what Stoops inherited and what he's building in Lex. I really think UK can replace USCjr and eventually move into that team that competes for the SEC East. Spurrier is on his way out. Richt will retire from Ga quicker than people expect. Their state is loaded with talent, but they're one bad hire away from going through what UT has gone through the last 3-5 years. Jones is building a solid program, but Dooley had the thing on the skids.

I'd be thrilled with 7+ wins, and a faster trajectory to the top. However, I realize what Stoops is building hasn't happened consistently at UK in the last quarter of a century. I think Stoops can get UK to 8-9 wins on a consistent basis. But it will take time and some patience by the fanbase. (Like fans are ever patient ;-) Give me 6 wins and a bowl and I'm happy. It will be the foundation for a slow but promising future.
